Jackson has to have a 5 day chemo round from now on. His last day is a Neulasta shot that has to be given 24 hours after the last chemo. It is supposed to be a five minute appointment. However, when we got to the Oncology department Easter morning a monitor was going off. One little girl getting chemo had dropped her sats and when that happens the Nurses don't start any new patients until the patient in trouble stabilizes. This is so that they can cover the Nurse with the emergent patient, and so they can help if necessary. So it was a 45 minute wait for the injection---and we were happy to wait. Sincerely, because if my child was the one in trouble I would want the same reaction for him.
Not under the bed~give the Easter Bunny some credit, he can hide baskets better than that!
Sierra is on the hunt.....
I have now clue if this relates to Easter or just a great shot of Sierra and Zoe's bed head.
Success!!
Fast forward several hours and we are back home at the Easter Egg Hunt with the Cousins.
Aftyn is looking pleased with her cute self.

Adalynn~because I am so tardy with this blog I can add a cute saying from this little chicky. I took her out to lunch and while we were eating she looking the the window at herself and said, "hey, I look cuter than I thought"!! Cracked me up.
Maybe next year!

Apparently a fun day for all except Jackson- ouchie neulasta shot plus the adults in his life wouldn't let him find any easter eggs, that's what that face is for I'm sure! Hooray for the end of chemo round two!
Y'all are so mean. Let the boy have an egg or two!
That Easter bunny is on top of things!!! Impressive! You'll have to let us know when you are back on our side again...we'll have to meet up.
