Back in the saddle again....

Round 2 infusion 5 is complete. Jax did great, I will post his counts tomorrow. They are going to start him on a maintenence does of Bactrium which is an antibiotic that, in his case, is to hopefully prevent a particularly orniery pnemonia that he is most at risk for because of his low WBC. Thanks for all the help and prayers, they are working!!

I loved Jax's positive attitude as he left today. What a trooper! We're praying everything goes smooth and the next few days fly by for both of you. Love you!

I want to hear more of his good attitude. What was said as he left today Grandma Louise? We're definitely thinking of you here. And Rebecky, I do love Carson. I love him so much that I allowed him to get the awful haircut of HIS choice NOT mine! Love you guys!

I'm a little surprised they didn't start him on Bactrim, or some other antibiotic, and an antiviral, like Valtrex, before chemo even started. Those prophylactics are standard around here before beginning chemo. As far as I know, the counts always take a hit, and you gotta have that extra protection from the start.
Following your journey and traveling with prayer! B
